I am nervous about the powerpoint because the syllabus says that it must be formal and not a multimedia event. I always have a tendency to make presentations "cutsie" and maybe overdo the graphics, pictures, sound effects, etc. We'll see how it goes!

I agree with you on the PowerPoint. I was going to add video segments and be creative until Prof. Strange made the comment about being very plain ... so I will tone down my presentation. Good luck on yours.

No need to tone it down. I am just trying to make newcomers to PowerPoint more comfortable, especially since they have to present in the third week of class. But go ahead and show them what is possible!

Hey Bridget (we were in AED 301 last semster) any way I know what you mean about the power point but I am sure that you did just fine!
I was nervous too...but once you get up there it's over before you know it.
